The paper discusses customers’ purchasing behavior in the industrial pumps market. Considering increase global competition among suppliers, they must design and employ customer-oriented strategies to compete successfully empirical analysis is based on survey data from a sample of 133 pump buyers. importance each supply factors that are important for successful sales process analyzed. results show brand has statistically greater influence smaller customers than larger customers. study contributes existing literature purchase decision-making branding. A broader potential application discussed, possible research directions this area presented at end, given limitations study.
